 Hey Jeff,
Was wondering if you or any other cyclists have heard about this event?

-The fifth annual Ride of Silence, a global network of group rides to
honor cyclists injured or killed by motorists, will take place on May 16
at 7 p.m. (or May 19 at 10 a.m. in the southern hemisphere). The Ride of
Silence was created in Dallas to honor endurance cyclist Larry Schwartz,
who was killed by the driver of a school bus in 2003. More than a
thousand cyclists showed up for a slow, silent 12-mile procession. The
next year, riders in about 50 North American cities participated. In
2006 there were rides in more than 250 locations worldwide. If no ride
is in your area, it's easy to organize one and add it to the list at
http://www.rideofsilence.org/main.php
