There will be an INFORMAL time trial Sunday, June 24, 2007, at 8:30 am, 8 miles north of Sciota.
ALL are invited. Any style bicycle is welcome. You need only a watch or other timing device, bicycle, helmet, water, and motivation.

Distance, 25 miles
Very flat course
Downhill with tailwinds, both ways
Usual Rules:
Self timed
No fees
No sag
No support
No liability or responsibility

Each rider will start individually. It is not a race against other riders, but rather your best effort at your best speed over 25 miles. Starting order will be determined by a person experienced in making arbitrary and capricious decisions, and will be based on YOUR estimate of the time it will take you to complete the course. Course is very flat, per order of Sir Lawrence.
Prize list not yet complete, but is expected to be significant. A CPA has been invited to offer tax advice to winners.
Directions: Route 67 to Raritan Road [approximately 3 miles north of McDonough County line, or approximately 3 miles south of Roseville]; then, 3 miles west on Raritan Road; then, 1.6 miles south, to Leroy and Sue Tappe farm, on west side of road. Please park off road, in the barn lot behind the house.
Please arrive sufficiently early so as to start as close to 8:30am as possible.
