[Macomb-Cycling] Mother's Day ride

Steve et al,
Sorry we didn't make it. Becky and I did a 30 mile ride into Fulton county. 
Went through the Point Pleasent area and then south and east to Bernadotte. 
We found that they had a reservation system in place at the Bernadotte caf'e 
because of Mothers Day but got served anyway. Of the 30 miles, 23 were on 
gravel and 7 on blacktop. We rode mountain bikes. Can't count then number of 
20+% grades we wen't up and down on 1.5" gravel. Total time was 4 hours. 
Hope that you had a good ride.

We are hoping to do the time trial north of the quad cities on recumbents 
next Sunday. Gonna kill the roadies.We have a big van will transport any 
Macomb area riders. Let me know.
