[DiscGolf] Disc Golf tournament

Hey everybody,

Just thought I would drop everyone a line and notify everyone about what’s what
in the magical enchanted world that is disc golf.

First of I just want to thank everyone who came out for professional disc golfer
Gary Lewis last Wednesday. Gary and I played Saturday in Chicago and he told me
that he had an awesome time down at western, man that guy can really throw a disc.

Secondly I just wanted to inform everyone about the United States College Disc
Golf tournament that went on this past weekend in Kentucky. The tournament was
The first ever College Disc Golf championship with the winner being Western
Kentucky (Don’t worry, next year we'll show them). I have been in contact with
The tournament event organizer Laura Clark and we are already setting up
Tourney’s for next year. Get excited because next year is going to explode with
Collegiate disc golf.

Also, I encourage everyone to go to the PDGA website and hop on the message
Boards and talk to college kids from other schools and challenge some disc golf
Teams to tournaments. Next year I definitely want to get this team traveling all
over the country to compete in tournaments. It's looking to be an exciting time
in disc golf.

TOURNAMENT INFO
On April 20th next Tuesday at 4:30 there is going to be a festival on the disc
golf course their will be speakers from the:
Western Illinois University chapter of the American with Civil liberties Union
Campus Greens
Campus Libertarians
And the Disc Golf club

Following the speakers live bands will take the stage as we kick off the Disc
Golf Doubles Tournament, so grab you partner and dosy doe.
We are going to have a two round doubles best shot tournament. It should be a
great time and lots of low scores, so get excited, get your discs and grab a
friend because it’s going to be a great time.
