[DiscGolf] Disc Golf in Macomb Parks

       PLEASE BRING A GOLF DISC TO THE MACOMB PARK DISTRICT BOARD MEETING:

		Tuesday Sept 21
		6:00 pm
		Macomb City Hall (2nd floor)

I've shared this with some of you already, but I wanted to let everybody
know so they can lend their support.  I have approached the Macomb Park
District with a proposal to create two new 18 hole disc golf courses in
Macomb - one in Glenwood/Everly park, another at Spring Lake.

My proposal is that I will raise the money to pay for basic courses - grass
tees, single basket placements, etc. if the park district will maintain them
and upgrade them to deluxe or championship level courses as usage grows.  All
5 of the park board comissioners and the executive director have my proposal
in hand.  Response, so far, has been very favorable.

I have been requested to present and answer questions at next Tuesday's
park board meeting.  I am 2nd or 3rd on the agenda so it will probably be
6:20 before I'm actually called.

Here is what I would like - TONS of disc golfers to attend the park board
meeting - each carrying a disc - to show their support for more disc golf
courses in Macomb.  If support is stong - and money can be raised - we could
have the beginnings of another course before the snow flies.

Jim Miner - do you know if there is any data concerning the amout of use
	that Sipolt Memorial is getting?  Such data might be nice to have
	for the presentation.  Thanks!
