BOIL ORDER NOTICE

Due to water line construction and repair work, a boil order is in effect until further notice for the following areas<P>Ash Street from North Pearl to State Street<P>712 North State Street<P>Hemp Road from State Street to East Street<P>All persons affected by this shut-off notice will be under a boil order when the water is turned back on. Boil orders are issued as a precautionary measure anytime water mains are constructed or repaired. Until the boil order is lifted, it is recommended that all water intended for consumption be brought to a rolling boil for at least five minutes to kill any potential bacteria. The boil order will remain in effect until further notice. The lifting of the boil order will be released through the Public Works Department.<P>Any questions can be directed to the Macomb Water Treatment Plant at 836-3916 or Macomb Public Works Department at 833-2821.<P>Thank you for your cooperation.
