ICE STORM TREE DAMAGE

Due to the severe tree damage from last night's ice storm, the Mayor has authorized the Public Works Department to assist Macomb residents with disposal of downed trees and tree limbs damaged as a result of the storm.<P>The Public Works Department will remove debris from downed trees and tree limbs placed adjacent and parallel to the curb on the street parkway. Removal will begin Monday, December 22, 2008 and continue until further notice. Material must be cut to lengths of eight (8) feet or less.<P>The City of Macomb will open the Yard Waste Site on Tower Road for city residents who wish to dispose of tree debris as a result of the recent storm. The site will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. beginning Saturday, December 20, 2008 through Tuesday, December 23,2008.<P>Presently all available Public Works crews are working at clearing the street of tree debris and snow and ice removal. The City streets remain hazardous at this time and the City of Macomb strongly urges al!
