DOWNTOWN SQUARE STREET MAINTENANCE

Beginning July 7, 2008 the Macomb Public Works Department will resume street maintenance in the downtown square, with periodic closing of designated traffic lanes and parking areas during maintenance activities. Maintenance activities will include pavement repair with unavoidable soft asphalt and some loose gravel as the repair material consolidates over several days. Businesses should take appropriate measures to protect flooring from possible asphalt staining and tracking.<P>The Public Works Department requests for the cooperation and indulgence of downtown business, customers and citizens as we work to make the downtown area better.
